Join us for a special Sip & Paint experience honoring the work of groundbreaking African American artist Kara Walker. We’ll begin with a short discussion on Walker’s powerful use of silhouette imagery and how her work explores history, identity, and storytelling. Then, students will create their own silhouette-inspired paintings, drawing from her iconic visual language while painting their own truth.
